SYAZA JAMILAH 'INANI BINTI JAAFAR

Syaza Jamilah ‘Inani binti Jaafar is a law graduate from International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) in Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LL.B) and Bachelor of Laws (Shariah) (Honours) (LL.B_S). She completed her pupillage under the guidance and tutelage of Tuan Ahmad Hafiz Bin Zubir at Hafiz Zubir & Co and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019.

At Hafiz Zubir & Co, she has assisted partners and clients in non-contentious and contentious IP matters: trademark advisory, registration, opposition and infringement as well as copyright voluntary notification. She has also assisted partners in trademark disputes and medical negligence matters.

Upon completing her pupillage, she commenced her practice at Messrs Moi Teik Seng & Partners from 2019 to 2020. At Messrs Moi Teik Seng & Partners, she assisted clients in motor insurance litigation (i.e., personal injury and motor claims) in which the firm acted for a number of insurers in Malaysia. She assisted clients in claims advisory and defence against insurance claims.

In 2021, she joined Messrs Asiah & Hisam. Her current area of practice is General Litigation and trademark matters.
